WOMEN’S APPAREL : CONTEMPORARY CAREER
DESIGNER
Corporate Name : MHB 225 Inc.
Brand Names : AMANDA + CHELSEA, ATELIER-LUXE
For nine years, Rabin was responsible for Creative Direction, Trend Analysis, Market Research & Technical Design. She joined the company in 2011 when it was only six months old, and as the sole designer, played a crucial role in developing the identity of the brands.
As the workplace dress-code has become increasingly casual, outfitting the modern career woman has proven to be a unique challenge.
The solution has been to combine classic silhouettes with key trends, quality fabrics, and a contemporary fit.
This “mix-and-match” approach to career dressing offers a variety of narrow leg pants in washable stretch fabrics, novelty skirts in Boucle, Highland Plaids, and Ombre, as well as jackets that range from simple blazers to Motorcycle Silhouettes that utilize Fabric Mixing.
Other trends that Rabin has incorporated into the A + C line include Tonal Jacquards, Vegan Leather, Lazercutting, Exposed Zippers, Full-Skirts, Color-Blocking, Asymmetry, Printed Ponte, Patterned Faux-Suede, Soft Structure, and Peek-a-Boo Sheer Inserts.
