Embellishment for Apparel + Accessories

Hand Embroidery

Ashley Rabin started off her career in 2005 with a passion for embroidery. She upcycled basic sweaters into wearable art, transforming solid basics with silk thread, freshwater pearls and genuine turquoise.

Vintage Lace

Rabin’s experimentation with embellishment continued with vintage lace, beginning with apparel and continuing into her sustainable accessories brand Gilded Mane.

The opulence of Rabin’s designs for Gilded Mane is achieved through the combination of reclaimed leather, pre-consumer scraps diverted from landfill, and Zardozi embroidery. By creating accessories that instantly elevates one’s existing wardrobe, these versatile statement pieces are destined to become the new heirlooms of tomorrow.

Reclaimed Vintage Jewelry

Incorporating vintage jewelry into her Reincarnated Jewels Collection is another method Rabin uses to achieve depth in her designs, while also creating pieces that are truly one-of-a-kind. The types of vintage jewelry she uses are varied and include enameled buckles, metal picture buttons, silver filigree, deconstructed earrings, bracelets, brooches and dress clips.

Gaia Collection

The Gaia Collection pushes the boundaries of adornment, with pieces that have the ability to transform wardrobe staples into haute couture looks.
